THE HISTORY OF DESSOL
years of love and dedication.
The DESSOL Foundation
It was born from the heart of a community committed to service, guided by the Christian principles of love and justice. Since 2016, we have walked alongside vulnerable children, youth, and families, sowing hope in their hearts through education, health, and values.
After obtaining our legal status in January 2018, under the leadership of Pastor Julián Ajahucho Chirilla, We officially began our activities on July 1 of that same year, serving more than 420 beneficiaries during our first year of operation. Since then, we have worked tirelessly to provide hope and opportunities to those who need them most.
Thanks to the exclusive support of Compassion Bolivia, we have developed initiatives focused on the holistic well-being of children and youth, addressing their physical, cognitive, spiritual, and socio-emotional needs.
Under the current administration, this model of work has been reorganized and strengthened around three main programs:
- Skills and Talents Development
- Community in Action
- Family Strengthening
These programs allow us to continue promoting the holistic growth of our beneficiaries and to make a positive and sustainable impact on their lives and communities.
